History

Canandaigua Financial Group provides independent financial services, objective guidance, and products through dozens of investment and insurance companies. The group was founded in 2002 by Wade A. Sarkis and Rusty Barone, who wanted to combine their expertise and expand the range of services and products available for the benefit of the clients they serve.

Canandaigua Financial Group is affiliated with Crossbridge Financial Group of Rochester, New York. Wade is a former partner of Crossbridge and has worked with the four owners of that organization since 1987. Both firms are branch offices of Commonwealth Financial Network®.
